Maximize Your Return on Data
Never before have we experienced such a profound transformative change in computing,
which is taking the notion of “the information age” to a level unimagined even a
few years ago. Cloud, social and mobile computing are changing everything in the
world of data, and leading to the massive rise in variety, complexity and volume
now dubbed “big data”. Capitalizing on the business value of big data while avoiding
unforeseen cost, complexity, and risk has become critical to your future success.
In this session, you will...
- Uncover disciplines for measuring and continuously maximizing your “return on data”,
defined as the value of data divided by the cost of data
- Understand the impact of these megatrends on how you create, manage and utilize
- Examine the multiple facets of the big data phenomenon, and its impact on your organization
- Learn about the latest release of the Informatica Platform, Informatica 9.5, and
the capabilities necessary to ensure that you don’t merely cope in the era of big
data, but that you thrive.
Eliminate SaaS Sprawl with Cloud Data Integration
According to IDC, software as a service (SaaS) spending will grow by 105% between
2011 and 2015. Is your organization ready? Do you have a plan to integrate data
between cloud and on-premise applications? What about cloud to cloud? Welcome to
the world of “hybrid IT.” In this session, you will learn...
- Why data integration has been recognized as top barrier to cloud computing adoption
- The primary cloud data integration and data quality use cases
- How to balance the need for speed with the need for strong IT governance and control
- How Informatica Cloud can enable maximum cloud application adoption and success.
Boosting Value through Proactive Customer Engagement
Eighty-eight percent of CEOs said in a recent survey that getting closer to the
customer is the top business strategy over the next five years. Social networks
offer rich information about customer preferences that can help companies achieve
this goal. Social network data can also enrich both real-time insights from customer
sentiment analysis, and corporate customer profiles in CRM applications. Informatica’s
customers are using this valuable information to empower their business to engage
with customers proactively. During this presentation you will learn how IT can use
data to help boost value through proactive customer engagement in three key ways...
- Tap new data sources to better understand customers
- Use relevant social media data by relating customer’s corporate profiles with their
social profiles on social networks such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter, and
- Detect opportunities to take action in real-time to enable proactive customer service
and targeted offers.
Data Privacy – Protecting Data to Ensure Compliance
More than 84 percent of corporations have suffered at least one data breach in the
last year. Sensitive data needs to be protected, both to safeguard it from unauthorized
use and to comply with a growing number of privacy regulations. Learn about the
unique capabilities provided by Informatica’s Dynamic Data Masking product, and
how customers are using it to protect sensitive information in real time—without
costly, time-consuming changes to applications and databases. In this session, you
- Benefits of policy-driven security and monitoring for applications
- What Informatica’s new Dynamic Data Masking offers
- How to secure both production and nonproduction (development, test, training) environments.
